The Prince Albert Grand Council is lending its voice to the city of Prince Albert as it works to get a second bridge.

The PAGC has officially put its support behind the city’s Build a Second Bridge Campaign.

A resolution of support was signed at a recent chiefs meeting in April.

Chief Ron Michel says many northern communities were impacted by the recent weight restrictions that were imposed on the Diefenbaker Bridge.

The PAGC is the second organization to officially sign onto the city’s campaign to build another bridge.

New North is the other party to step forward.
