Five people, including one youth, are facing charges after a weekend drug bust on a Lac La Ronge Indian Band reserve in the La Ronge area.

Officers from La Ronge and Prince Albert along with a police dog from Meadow Lake were involved in the searches of two homes.

The operation was conducted around 10 a.m. Saturday.

Investigators say they found $5,000 cash, 40 hydromorphone pills, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

The suspects, including 26-year-old Sherry Pritchard, 23-year-old Floyd Ratt, 21-year-old Thomas Ratt and 20-year-old Zebedy Herringer, are making court appearances today.

The charges include possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of the proceeds of crime.
