A 32-year-old man accused of abducting his four-year-old daughter in Regina yesterday faces a number of charges.
Police say Anthony Joseph Slippery was arrested shortly after 5:00 pm yesterday in the 1200 block of Garnet Street.
The charges include abduction, assault, uttering threats and evading police.
Investigators say Slippery assaulted his former partner in the morning and left with the child.
That prompted an Amber Alert and police posted information on their website, Facebook and Twitter.
The child was located unharmed in a Regina home yesterday afternoon.
