RCMP say the body of a missing woman from the Fishing Lake First Nation has been found.
Searchers located the remains of 47-year-old Beverly Ann Cyr early Sunday afternoon in a body of water, roughly 6 km downstream from where her vehicle was found last week.
Her van was discovered Thursday completely submerged in a body of water just off a grid road near the reserve, about 10 km south of Wadena off Hwy 35.
Underwater recovery teams had been searching the area ever since Thursday’s discovery.
Cyr’s vehicle was last seen near the Fishing Lake band office.
Police are continuing to investigate.
