Punnichy RCMP have released the name of the man who died on the weekend after being hit by a vehicle on a Saskatchewan reserve.
The incident on the Gordon First Nation was reported shortly before 5 a.m. Saturday.
Police say 31-year-old Delaney Shaun Longman, who is from the reserve, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle, 35-year-old Jason William Bitternose, was arrested a short time later.
Bitternose appeared in court yesterday charged with impaired driving causing death, and was released on conditions.
He is due back in court next month.
