Highway 106 southeast of Deschambault Lake was closed for several hours last night after a collision involving two semis.

RCMP say, at around 6:45 last evening, a tractor trailer unit parked at the side of the road was rear-ended by a westbound semi.

One rig ended up in the south ditch and the other jackknifed across the road, blocking traffic.

Neither driver was seriously injured, although one was taken to hospital in Flin Flon to be checked over.

Police say one lane of Highway 106 was re-opened around 2:00 a.m. and traffic was back to normal around 6:30 this morning.
