An 18-year-old Saskatoon woman is facing numerous charges after two women were stabbed at a house party on the Ahtahkakoop First Nation.

RCMP say the victims were part of a group of five people who had vehicle trouble while travelling through the reserve on Sunday.

While waiting for a gas service station to open, police say the group started drinking with others that had come to the house where they were waiting.

An altercation broke out between three women in the vehicle — and two women, aged 34 and 41, were stabbed.

The victims were transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Jenise Irene Heese is facing two counts of aggravated assault, three counts of assault with a weapon and three counts of uttering threats.

Heese has been remanded in custody and will make a court appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court tomorrow.

Both the victims and the accused are from Saskatoon.
