About 70 students at the Little Pine First Nation have been inducted into a new anti-bullying program.

The program is called “WITS” and stands for walk away, ignore, talk it out, and seek help.

It is aimed at kids from Kindergarten to Grade 3.

RCMP say Chief Little Pine School is the first school in Saskatchewan to host the program.

Cst. Kim Nording says it has gives kids good advice on how to handle bullying.

The program was originally created in BC in 1993.

It is also being tried in five other schools across the country.
