A Saskatchewan man with a history of sex offences and other crimes will go to trial again.

Fifty-six-year-old Norbert Dumais was committed to stand trial after a four-day preliminary hearing in North Battleford this week.

His trial is expected to be held in Battleford Court of Queen’s Bench at a date to be decided later.

Dumais moved to North Battleford in 2009 after serving a full 10-year sentence for raping an 11-year-old girl.

After a Facebook campaign to oust him from the city, he moved to Leoville, where he was arrested last May on new charges of sexual assault, uttering threats, possession of a substance for the purpose of trafficking, and breach of undertaking.
