RCMP have issued an arrest warrant following a weekend shooting at the Onion Lake Cree Nation.
The incident happened during an altercation late Saturday afternoon, and police say it was not a random act.
The 19-year-old male victim is recovering after surgery at a Saskatoon hospital.
Police say 24-year-old Matthew Edward Lecky is charged with aggravated assault and using a firearm during an offence.
He is considered to be a risk, and anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the RCMP.
