A band councillor with the Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation is the latest person to be elected to Missinipi Broadcasting Corporation’s board of directors.
Angie Merasty of Pelican Narrows has also held positions with the provincial government, SaskTel and Cameco.
Merasty will represent the East Side Region for the next two years.
She replaces outgoing board member Linda McKay of Sandy Bay.
MBC’s board is made up of elected directors who represent various regions of northern Saskatchewan.
