An Alberta energy company continues to look for oil and gas on two Saskatchewan reserves.

Sundance Energy Corporation is drilling exploration wells on the Muskowekwan and Ochapowace First Nations.

Company president Jeffrey Standen says other developments are already occurring in the two regions which could tie in nicely with what his company is hoping to achieve.

He notes there will probably eventually be a potash mine on the Muskowekwan reserve which will require a natural gas source for the solution mining process.

Standen adds the company is hoping to get some initial test results back by January.
