Meadow Lake city council has provided a victim impact statement to the RCMP on the impact of the drug trade.
Meadow Lake RCMP asked for the statement as part of a project on drugs in the community.
Sgt. Phil DeGruchy says the letter can then be filed in court when offenders are prosecuted.
The Flying Dust First Nation has been asked to file a similar letter.
Chief Jim Norman says he is looking into the matter.
