The body found in a North Battleford house earlier this week has been identified as 45-year-old Ronald William Peequaquat.

The Red Pheasant First Nation man had been missing since June 25th.

Police say relatives reported him missing in August.

The body was found Tuesday, and the autospy was completed late yesterday.

The cause of death has not been released, but police say he was not a victim of foul play.

Battlefords RCMP Sgt. Darcy Woolfitt says the family has been notified, and they are understandbly saddened by the news.

Woolfitt says Battlefords Victim Services employees are helping family members in their grief.
