Getting to school will be cheaper for almost 2,700 Aboriginal post-secondary students in Saskatoon next month.

Bus passes modelled on the University of Saskatchewan passes will be available at the Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies and the First Nations University of Canada.

SIIT spokesman Robert Daniels says the passes cost $97 dollars a semeseter.

Daniels says not only will that save students $25 a month — it is also easier than finding a parking space.

SIIT students who were surveyed were 90% in favour of the idea.
