The RCMP is asking for the public’s help in identifying a male who briefly abducted a teenage girl in La Ronge earlier this month.

At approximately 8:30 p.m. on November 9th, the teen was walking alone on a road on the Jackpine Reserve in the La Ronge area when she was grabbed from behind and forced into the suspect’s vehicle.

The victim was able to escape after a struggle with the suspect.

The suspect vehicle is described as a four-door car, with a small broken window on the back passenger side that is covered in plastic. The interior of the vehicle has black leather seats and a brown steering wheel. The clock on the dashboard of the vehicle changes colors and there is a light that shines down from the rear-view mirror.

The suspect is described as a male with brown eyes and a moustache. He is about 6’2″ tall with a medium-to-heavy build.  The suspect was wearing a black leather coat with a zipper on the right side breast. The jacket has a hood and a Valcom sign on the left side.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
