Officials from the University of Regina were in Prince Albert yesterday to present Mayor Jim Scarrow with an award.
Scarrow was thanked for his work in promoting the First Nations University of Canada as it went through some difficult times last year.
University president and vice-chancellor Vianne Timmons says the President’s Community Award is given out each year.
Timmons says Scarrow has worked behind the scenes to support the FNUC in Prince Albert and Regina.
