The person charged with manslaughter in the death of a La Ronge man last winter has had the charge against him stayed.
The charge was laid against 23-year-old Corey Alexander Clarke in February 2010.
The body of a 40-year-old man had been found on a road on the Bell’s Point reserve.
The victim’s name and the cause of death were not released by the RCMP.
A preliminary hearing in the case was scheduled to begin yesterday, but the Crown stayed the charge earlier in the month.
