The new “Wapos Bay” film “Long Goodbyes” premiered at the closing night gala the imagineNATIVE Film and Media Arts Festival in Toronto this past weekend.
Creator and producer Dennis Jackson says it was a great experience for the Saskatchewan-made show to be acknowledged by peers in the Indigenous film industry.
Jackson says the film follows the characters on a few last adventures as they prepare to move from Wapos Bay.
He says APTN will broadcast the television premiere of the film on December 3rd.
