The RCMP are looking for information on a break-in and assault on an elderly woman in Loon Lake.
The incident happened early Monday morning at the Loon Lake Villa apartment.
Police say the intruder entered an apartment and woke an elderly woman who was sleeping on the couch.
He then went down the hall into another apartment occupied by an elderly, physically-disabled woman.
The suspect assaulted her while she slept, before fleeing.
The victim was transported to the Meadow Lake hospital for treatment of her injuries.
