A Sturgeon Lake man accused of manslaughter has been released from custody.

Friday morning at provincial court in Prince Albert, 29 year-old Dexter Ermine was granted a 500-dollar cash recognizance.

Members of his family sat in the gallery while the decision was handed down.

The release was given after a bail supervision report was completed.

Ermine is accused of causing the death of 21 year-old Dereck Morin.

The Saskatoon man was found deceased on a grid road on the Sturgeon Lake reserve in August.

At the time RCMP said he had been stabbed.

Ermine’s next court appearance is set for November 21st.
