Two Saskatoon men have been convicted following investigations into witness intimidation.

The first investigation was conducted in late 2010 by the Saskatoon Police Street Gang Unit.

Twenty-two-year-old Danyiel Joseph Dinardo was charged with obstructing justice by attempting to influence a witness.

He was an inmate at the Saskatoon Correctional Centre at the time.

Police say early this year similar charges were also laid against 22-year-old Keith Melvin Stonechild.

He was also in custody awaiting court proceedings at the time.
