RCMP Search for Missing Woman Near Dakota Dunes

A search is underway for a 58-year-old diabetic woman who went missing from her vehicle near Dakota Dunes yesterday.

 

According to the RCMP, Erlisita Hernandez was last seen walking approximately three kilometres north of the Dakota Dunes Casino on the Whitecap Dakota First Nation.

 

In addition to being diabetic, the Mounties say she suffers from Alzheimer’s disease.

 

The RCMP search and rescue team is assisting in the search, along with Civilian Air Search and Rescue and an RCMP police dog.

 

She is described as being approximately 5’5″ tall, 135 pounds with brown eyes, brown shoulder length hair and of Hispanic ancestry.

 

Hernandez is wearing a green Saskatchewan Roughriders t-shirt, jeans, and slippers.

 

Anyone who sees her or who has any information on her whereabouts is asked to notify the Saskatoon RCMP before approaching her.
