RCMP Investigate a Murder on the LLRIB

RCMP are investigating a murder on a Lac La Ronge Indian Band reserve in the La Ronge area.

The body of a 23-year-old reserve man was found at a residence shortly after noon yesterday.

Mounties in La Ronge arrested a 21-year-old man after a brief foot chase.

Formal charges have not yet been laid, but they are pending.

An autopsy on the victim’s body is scheduled for tomorrow in Saskatoon.

No names have been released.
