A 58-year-old woman with diabetes and Alzheimer’s disease is still missing after disappearing Sunday near the Dakota Dunes Casino.

Erlisita Hernandez was last seen on the Whitecap Dakota First Nation walking just north of the casino after leaving her vehicle.

The ground search has been completed without any sign of the missing woman.

A police dog was able to follow a track that RCMP believe was the route that Hernandez walked 3 kilometres from the Dakota Dunes Casino to Highway 219, but the scent was lost at the highway.

At this point, police believe Hernandez entered a vehicle and left the area.

According to her family, she doesn’t have a bank card, credit card, cell phone, and it can’t be determined how much money she may have in her possession.

Hernandez could be in the city of Saskatoon and Saskatoon police service is assisting with the investigation.

The family of Hernandez has reported to police that she suffers from schizophrenia and diabetes, and they are concerned about her well being.
