A Glaslyn sawmill was fined a total of $10,000 today after a man was injured at their work site.

In July, 2009, David Snakeskin was injured as he was working at L & M Wood products.

A piece of clothing got caught, pulling him into some exposed sprockets.

He lost one finger and skin on two others, and his shoulder was dislocated and some flesh was torn.

Snakeskin was sent to hospital in Saskatoon.

The case was heard in North Battleford Provincial Court.

Court was told safeguards have been put in place to prevent further accidents.
