The getaway driver for several men who attacked the wrong guy in a North Battleford home has been sentenced.

In North Battleford Provincial Court this week, Irene Littlepoplar pleaded guilty to being an accessory after the fact.

She was sentenced to 460 days in jail, but that sentence was deemed to have already been served.

Littlepoplar was also placed on probation for 12 months and banned from owning any firearms or ammunition for 10 years.

In exchange for the guilty plea, the Crown withdrew five other charges against her.

On January 27th last year, Littlepoplar drove the vehicle which took several men to a home in downtown North Battleford.

They wanted revenge for an earlier attack, so they beat up a man inside the home with pipes.

They soon realized they were in the wrong house, prompting several attackers to run away, while others got into Littlepoplar’s vehicle.

Two men were found hiding in the house and were arrested.
