The University of Saskatchewan has expanded its extensive collection of documents in its Indigenous Studies Portal or iPortal.

It now holds 25,000 full-text records.

Deborah Lee, the iPortal Librarian, says there are resources such as e-books, articles, theses, book reviews, web sites and film & videl recordings.

She says the collection also includes archival documents such as letters, photographs, diaries and council minutes, items she says are particularly interesting because they show how decisions were made.

Lee says you wouldn’t find material like that in a library.

Anyone can access the iportal by googling it or visiting iportal.usask.ca.
