A Saskatchewan diamond company has signed another memorandum of understanding with a First Nation.
Shore Gold has announced it has signed an MOU with Wahpeton Dakota Nation.
The MOU says the two parties will discuss potential education and training, job and business opportunities for Wahpeton.
Shore Gold has signed previous MOUs with other First Nations and Metis groups in the area of the proposed diamond mine, which is about 60 kilometres east of Prince Albert.
The province also recently signed a consultative agreement with three First Nations, which outlines how they will be involved in the consultation and environmental assessment process for the proposed mine.
