RCMP Expect to Lay More Charges in Home Invasion

The RCMP say they expect to soon lay charges against a second suspect in a violent home invasion last month on the Pasqua First Nation.

Another suspect, 18-year-old Christopher Cyr, was apprehended soon after the July 16th incident.

Cyr has been charged with aggravated assault, assault and break and enter to a residence, and makes his next court appearance today.

A 46-year-old man was hospitalized with serious injuries after one or more attackers entered a home and attacked the occupants with a baseball bat while they were sleeping.

A second male who was assaulted did not need medical treatment.
