Saskatchewan is looking to Alaska for some ideas on improving health care.
A provincial delegation is going on a tour of a non-profit group based in Anchorage.
The Southcentral Foundation serves both an urban and rural population.
Bonnie Brosart is the C.E.O. of the Health Quality Council, one of the groups going on the tour.
She says they’re simply looking for ideas and have no plans to copy the entire system.
Health Minister Don McMorris says the system the foundation uses is known for creativity and patient focus.
The delegation leaves on Sunday.
