Northwest Regional College has taken the wraps off some new student housing.

Ninty-six beds for students with families are now available at the school’s Meadow Lake Campus.

Three townhouses were unveiled this morning before an audience of students, staff and government leaders.

Bryan Nylander is the president of the college.

He says the new housing will allow many students, who are also parents, to bring their families with them throughout the school year.

He explains without the housing, many students wouldn’t be able to attend class at all.

He says some students have already begun to move in.
