MNC Will Establish Ec Dev Working Group

The Metis National Council has reached an agreement to establish a working group for economic development.

Metis representatives recently met with various federal and provincial government officials in Vancouver.

The meeting was a follow-up to the first Metis Economic Development Symposium held in 2009.

The goal of the working group is to develop a long-term Metis Economic Development strategy.

The group will report back in two years.
