Charge Laid In Muscowpetung Murder

The RCMP’s major crime unit has charged a 25-year-old woman with second-degree murder.

Police say Seanna Rae Nahnepowisk from the Muscowpetung First Nation made her first appearance in Regina Provincial Court this morning.

She was arrested in connection with the death of 30-year-old Wendell Scott Toto.

His body was found by his brother on January 12th at a home on the reserve.

The cause of death has not been released.

Nahnepowisk is due back in court on February 3rd.
