Athabasca MLA Seeking Re-Election

The current MLA for the riding of Athabasca is seeking re-election.

Buckley Belanger has held the post since 1998.

He says he knows there is a lot of work to do in the north, and points to his party’s record as helping lead the way in building hospitals, roads, and reclaiming forests.

He also says the NDP differs from the SaskParty on the issue of northern resource sharing.

Belanger says the NDP also helped deliver the Primrose Bombing range settlement and other career-building initiatives.

The NDP nomination meeting will be held in Ile-a-la-Crosse on March 18th.
