The Standing Buffalo First Nation is hosting a community book launch Saturday outlining its community vision.
Cheryl Tawiyaka is the plan champion and says the reserve’s strengths and issues were identified.
She says health issues are one reason they decided to start a community garden.
Tawiyaka says there are two other projects identified– a community hall and markers for local graves.
Band members who are interested and cannot make it to the event can contact the band office for a copy.
