Arrests Made After Drug Bust At James Smith

RCMP have arrested three people in connection with a drug bust on the James Smith First Nation.

 

Shortly before 5:00 this morning, officers seized a quantity of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and money.

 

The names of two of the people who were arrested have been released.

 

Forty-three-year-old Bradley Stonestand and 37-year-old Shirley Stonestand each faces charges of trafficking.

 

They have now been released from custody and are due in court next month.
