Weekend Crash Victims IDed As Sturgeon Lake Men

The two victims of this past weekend’s fatal crash near Warman have been identified as members of the Sturgeon Lake First Nation.

 

Just before 10 p.m. Sunday night, a vehicle carrying six people collided with the rear end of a tractor trailer unit on Hwy. 11, south of Warman.

 

A 36-year-old man died on the scene, and a 29-year-old man succumbed to his injuries and died in hospital early Monday morning.

 

Police are investigating the incident as a possible case of impaired driving, but so far, no charges have been laid and the investigation is continuing.
