In just a few months, an energy-efficient home being built by Cumberland House students will be finished.

The exterior of the Pisim Project is almost done and drywall should be up by the end of the month.

Ron Chatterson is the teacher helping the Charlebois students with the home.

He says the current students are proud of what they’ve done, but also sad they have to leave before the house is completely finished.

Chatterson says reaction to the home in the community and beyond has been incredible.

He says even some American hunters who were in the area bought raffle tickets on the home.

The home is expected to be finished in June, when it will be raffled off.
