A Catholic school division in Saskatoon has signed agreements with two Aboriginal groups.

The Saskatoon Tribal Council and the Central Urban Metis Federation both signed agreements yesterday.

The partnerships will give schools more Cree programming options immediately.

Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools spokesperson Cornelia Laliberte says that it was very important for the school division to get more cultural programming.

She says that the partnerships will enhance First Nations and Metis education within the division.
