Repairs For Hwy. 155 Deemed Top Priority
Thursday, January 14, 2010 at 12:07
Hwy. 155 in northwest Saskatchewan has been labelled the highest priority by the Northern Transportation Advisory Committee.
For that reason, the province says it will begin work on a 15-km stretch of the roadway running from Hwy. 965, starting in the 2010 construction year.
Gravel crushing will start this winter.
Hwy. 155 supports the mining and logging industries, and links communities such as Beauval, Ile-a-la-Crosse, Buffalo Narrows and La Loche to the rest of the province.
