Police Seek Help In ID’ing Killed Pedestrian

Police in Maidstone are calling for the public’s help in identifying a woman who was fatally struck by a vehicle on a highway this morning.

 

The First Nations woman was struck on Hwy. 16, west of Marshall, around 3 a.m..

 

Sgt. Carole Raymond with the RCMP says they would like assistance in identifying the victim.

 

She is described as approximately 5’2″ and 110 lbs., with shoulder-length black hair, and wearing prescription glasses.

 

She was wearing a black winter coat and tall brown boots.

 

Anyone with information is asked to call either the Maidstone RCMP or Crime Stoppers.

 

Police have not said if charges are being contemplated at this time.
