Police Identify La Loche Murder Victim

Police are now releasing the name of the 19-year-old man who was killed in La Loche last week.

A 17-year-old boy has been charged with second degree murder in connection with the death of John Alex Charles Janvier.

Janvier was found injured in the early morning hours of Dec. 30, 2009, in the northern village.

He was taken to hospital, where he died of his injuries.

The suspect is expected to return to court Thursday.
