Several reserves around the province are receiving money from the federal government to renovate homes in their respective communities.
The government announced today on the Whitecap Dakota First Nation that it is moving ahead with efforts to address immediate housing needs.
Minister responsible Lynne Yelich says the renovations will occur on multiple reserves and generate employment for workers as well.
According to the government, a total of 650 housing units will be retrofitted on reserves across Saskatchewan through its $666,000 investment.
