Maria Campbell Named To Trudeau Foundation

Saskatchewan resident and Metis playwright Maria Campbell has been named as a mentor to the Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation.
Campbell, who is known for her years on stage and in print, is part of a group of 10 prominent Canadians who have been added by the foundation.
The other new mentors include former NDP leader Ed Broadbent and Six Nations chief Roberta Jamieson.
The mentors will work with one or two promising doctoral students to ensure their work is actionable to the needs and concerns of society.
The key areas of concentration for the foundation are human rights, the environment and citizenship.
