Man Stabbed In Punnichy

A 44-year-old woman has been arrested for assault with a weapon, after RCMP responded to a stabbing complaint at a Punnichy residence over the weekend.

A 49-year-old man was found at the residence, suffering from a single stab wound to the chest.

The man was transported to Regina for medical attention, but his injuries are not considered life-threatening.

The accused, Phyllis Bitternose, will appear in Punnichy Provincial Court tomorrow.
