Investigation Ordered Into Violent Arrest

An investigation has been launched following the arrest of a Beardy’s man wanted for a number of offences.

Bradley Chad Gardipy is facing 14 criminal code offences, including domestic assault, break and enter and impaired driving.

Last Tuesday, he was arrested on the Beardy’s Okemasis reserve.

He tried to run when officers approached and wound up getting hit in the head before he could escape.

Gardipy is now in custody.

An independent observer has been called in to oversee the investigation.
