Fraud Charge Laid Against Ex-FNUC Student Rep

A former member of the First Nations University students’ association has been charged with defrauding the association of $35,000, according to a report in the Saskatoon Star-Phoenix.

 

Blue Pelletier, 31, is reportedly accused of taking money from the association by writing cheques to himself.

 

He now stands charged with one count of fraud and one count of theft, allegedly committed between August 2006 and February 2007.

 

Pelletier is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on June 15, in Saskatoon Provincial Court.
