A man accused of setting a fatal apartment fire in La Ronge last May has once again been released from custody.
20-year-old Blake David Norman has been in custody since November, when he was charged with assault in Creighton.
Norman made an appearance in La Ronge Provincial Court yesterday on that charge, as well as an unrelated charged of assault with a weapon stemming from April of last year.
He was released on an undertaking until his next court appearance in La Ronge on June 3rd.
Norman was previously committed to stand trial in Prince Albert Court of Queen’s Bench on a charge of arson and three counts of manslaughter in connection to last year’s death of a couple and their infant son at the Lakeview Apartments.
A trial date has not yet been set.
