Driver To Face Charges In Fatal Crash Near Beauval

Charges are pending against the male driver of a car that collided with a pickup truck in a fatal accident near Beauval yesterday.

A 43-year-old woman from Dillon was killed in the crash, which took place at around 5 p.m. on Hwy. 165, 10 km south of Beauval.

The victim was one of four people in the car.

The others were taken to hospital with undisclosed injuries, as was the driver of the truck.

Alcohol is believed to have been a contributing factor in the collision.

The name of the victim hasn’t been released.
